Product Use License
When you buy a design pack or bundle from Pro-Designs, you're buying a licence to use the designs. You don't own the copyright; that stays with Pro-Designs. Here's what that means in practice.
What you can do
- Get it tattooed. Take a design to any tattoo artist and have it tattooed on you.
- Tattoo it on clients. If you're a tattoo artist, you can tattoo the designs on as many clients as you like.
- Change it. Resize, recolour, combine or adapt the designs to suit a tattoo or your own artwork.
- Use it as reference. Use the designs as reference or a starting point for your own drawings and tattoo designs.
- Print it. Print the designs for your own use, or for your studio wall.
- Make stencils. Use the files to create stencils for tattooing.
- Show it off. Post photos of finished tattoos made from the designs on social media and in your portfolio.
What you can't do
- Resell or share the files. Don't sell, give away, upload or share the files (or edited versions of them) with anyone else.
- Put them on products. Don't use the designs on clothing, prints, stickers, posters, merchandise or anything else you sell, including print-on-demand.
- Sell them as your own designs. Don't sell the designs as your own flash, prints or digital products.
- Claim them as your own. Don't enter them in competitions or present the original designs as your own artwork.
- Use them in logos or branding. Don't use the designs as a logo or trademark.
The licence is personal
Each purchase is for one person, or one tattoo artist. If a studio wants every artist in the shop using the files, each artist needs their own copy.
